The GARR Workshop is the annual gathering of networking experts from the education and research sectors, offering an opportunity to update, discuss, and exchange ideas on the most topical issues of the moment.

Three days of discussion are devoted to innovation in the infrastructure and digital services that support research. The event gives space to developments in networking, the challenges of security and infrastructure control, the increasingly complex issue of digital autonomy, and the relationship between connectivity and artificial intelligence.

The programme includes thematic sessions on the development of federated services and digital identities, with a look at solutions that are changing how the education and research community collaborates, accesses resources, and manages its tools.

On 2 November, a space is set aside for in-person training, aimed in particular at the community's technical staff.
